This gravel road leads through Damaraland in Namibia. It is one of the few country roads in the Damara ""reserve."" Damaraland was offered to the indigenous people living in southern Africa as a reserve after the end of a"&"partheid. If you drive across it and visit places like Twyffelfontein, all the roads are like this. When it has rained, numerous small streams and even larger rivers are impassable, sometimes for days. There are no bridges. Damaraland is located in northe"&"rn Namibia, between the Etosha Pan and the Skeleton Coast.
