Another sports car of its time that could be described as an all-rounder was the beautifully and independently formed Austin Healey. Unmistakable in appearance, but technically an outstanding British sports car. The Mark II version with 132 hp at 223 Nm, Rauno Altonen with co-driver Tony Ambrose won the Spa - Sofia - Liège Rally in 1964 and particularly stood out in this type of rallies - as a reliably fast car. It was used regularly at Le Mans from 1961 to 1964, where it also demonstrated the longevity of the sports car and in 1964 came 24th out of 55 entrants.
