Again we are dealing with an icon. The name Unimog is known from Africa to Asia, from America to Australia. The name often makes people's eyes shine. It is the archetype of the fabulous basic idea of expanding the advantages of a tractor, hauler and tractor unit in many directions and combining all of this in one vehicle. Designer Albert Friedrich succeeded impressively. The Unimog 70200 was handcrafted 600 times by Boehringer before Daimler-Benz took over the brand to enable higher quantities. Even today, the term Unimog is synonymous with a large number of benefits combined in one vehicle and a value at the same time. The town of Göppingen from 1948 to 1951 - and from then until today, the town of Gaggenau, is the home of the commercial vehicle icons in this region.
