Le Mans 24 Hours 1926, winner
#6
Robert Bloch / André Rossignol,
1st place overall,
1st place in 5.0 category
Lorraine Dietrich decided in 1923 to present her B3-6 sports model to the public at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The very experienced driver André Rossignol, who finished eighth in 1923, also started for the racing team. Rossignol's attitude and focus on goals earned him the honor of being the first driver to win the race twice and in consecutive years. The painting shows him thundering past the pits in 1926, the last year Lorraine Dietrich would be racing.
