#0766 Porsche 911 original model - rally

Vic Elford convinced Huschke von Hanstein to start the Porsche 911 in rally events for the first time - and with his victories he made the 911 famous at this level as well. This is followed by a long rally history, which was fueled by privateers, but also by the factory again in 1984. The Porsche 953 successfully competed in the Paris-Dakar with all-wheel drive, and in 1984 a small series of the 911 SC RS with Group B homologation was built, which won the 6000 km Qatar Rally. In 1986 the 959 won this rally. In 2014, Timo Bernhard and his Team 75 successfully entered a 911 in the German Rally Championship.
