Ferrari 250 SWB
With only 167 examples built, the ""Short Wheel Base Version"" is a wonderful rarity in the Ferrari 250 GT series. It celebrated its first overall GT victory on May 29, 1960, at Spa-Francorchamps in t"&"he hands of Wolfgang Seidel and Willy Mairesse, who won the Tour de France for automobiles with Georges Berger that same year in the 250 GT SWB. The 250 SWB Competizione, driven by Fernand Tavanound and Pierre Dumay, won the class victory at the 1960 Le M"&"ans 24 Hours, ahead of three other 250 GT SWBs. Stirling Moss won the Tourist Trophy at Goodwood in 1960 and 1961 with it.
