The overall victory was preceded by a gripping duel over the entire race distance: the Audi R18, which has been tried and tested many times over, resulting from the experience of 13 victories in 15 years, and the relatively new Porsche 919 Hybrid in only its second year of operation. Shown here is the intense duel of the leaders as they negotiate the first chicane - spectacularly lit by the AF Corse team's two just passed Ferrari 458 Italia GTEs. Car number 19 will win the "Highnoon Duel", the Audi number 7 will finish in third place.
