The Dunlop Bridge is a good place to enjoy the wonderfully changing sound of the V8 engine in the Toyota TS040 hybrid race car as the car, driven by Anthony Davidson, Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima, has made the left-right switch and down to the Esses to start a new round in the increasingly fading daylight. The varied sounds of the V4 and Porsche V6 engines that followed, the V6 of the Audis, the V10 of the Viper or even the screaming V8 of the prototypes and the rumble of the Corvette V8 engines, whether petrol or diesel, turbocharged or not, like them weaving their way around the track, all adding their part to the symphony of the machine orchestra.
