Team Larbre Competition #50 Gianluca Roda, Paolo Ruberti, and Kristian Poulsen DNF
It's the variety of vehicles that makes Le Mans so special – both in terms of their size and the size of the teams. This is how “David vs. Goliath conflicts” arise from time to time. One of the Davids, the Larbre Competition Team, founded by Jack Leconte in 1988, returned in 2015 in the GTE Am category with the fully developed and reliable Corvette C7.R. Pictured is the private team's number 50 braking for the first chicane on the legendary Hunaudières straight. They competed against the mighty competition from the "Goliath camps" of teams from Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche, but "David" had to retire early due to gearbox problems.
