The #67 Porsche 997 GT3-RSR, driven by Le Mans newcomer Anthony Pons, fielded by Rouen-based Raymond Narac's IMSA Performance Team, led the GTE AM category until Pedro Lamy in the #50 Corvette C6R was an hour ahead End of race overtook. Moments later, the Porsche suffered a puncture, but it was still able to hold onto second place in class - just one lap behind the winning Corvette.
