The #67 Porsche 997 GT3-RSR, driven by Le Mans rookie Anthony Pons and fielded by Raymond Narac's "&"IMSA Performance Team from Rouen, led the GTE AM category until Pedro Lamy overtook him with the #50 Corvette C6R one hour before the end of the race. Just moments later, the Porsche suffered a tire puncture, but it still managed to hold on to second plac"&"e in the class—just one lap behind the winning Corvette.
