Meticulous preparation and a wealth of experience built up over more than a decade form Audi's reliable formula. The latest configuration of the V6 diesel race car, the R18 e-Tron Quattro, achieved a triple victory at Le Mans 2012. Start number one with Marcel Fässler, Benoît Treluyer and André Lotterer won, one lap ahead of their teammates. They also won in 2011. What's more, it was the first hybrid vehicle with electric drive technology on board to win Le Mans - and the first with four-wheel drive and a female race engineer, Leena Gade.
