Jo Siffert enjoyed a successful career on two wheels before entering the world of Formula 1. In 1968, he won the British Grand Prix at wet Brands Hatch in the new Lotus 49B of the Rob Walker Racing team. He beat Chris Amon in his Ferra"&"ri after a full-distance duel. This victory is considered the last GP victory by a true private team. Here, in the same car at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, the outcome was not so fortunate. Just nine laps before the end of the race, he was forced to r"&"etire from second place due to damage to his rear suspension. This scene shows him in free practice – still without a starting number.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher frames.
The stretcher frames are 2 cm deep. The "&"wooden slats of the stretcher frames are approximately 3 cm wide.
