An Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 Gran Sport makes its way down from Futa Pass during the Mille Miglia. A hugely successful racer of its era, it enjoyed an incredible opening season, winning every major race it entered, from grand prix's to endurance races. But the 6C's name is particularly associated with the Mille Miglia, having won it in back-to-back 1929 and 1930. Significantly, this car also helped the Scuderia Ferrari to establish itself, as it was internationally victorious under the leadership of Enzo Ferrari.
