The Kyalami Nine Hours was the flagship event of the South African Springbok Trophy series and despite not being classified as a World Sportscar Championship round, it attracted a number of top drivers. Pictured is Jo Siffert and Kurt Ahrens in the Martini Racing Team Porsche on their way to second overall in the 1970 edition of the race, followed by the identical Team Gunston Wagen of Richard Attwood and John Love.
