""Junkyard"" with over 70 former Le Mans cars
The watercolor ""The Le Mans Scrapyard"" depicts a diverse collection of racing cars that have competed in the Grand Prix d'Endurance since its inception in 1923. Man"&"y Le Mans icons are stacked up, including former winners such as the Porsche 956, the Renault Alpine A442B, the Aston Martin DBR1, and even the Mazda 787B. Marshals have assembled a spectacular collection in the woods beside the track in the ""La Chapelle"&""" area. The idea was presented to Uli Ehret by an English collector of his works.
