In recent times, no team has embodied the privateer spirit quite like Robertson Racing. The American squad that brought your "GT40" back to Le Mans for the first time in four decades received little support from the power that Ford represents. Despite this, they snagged a place on the podium in GTE AM, the “amateur class”. In true privateer fashion, it was the first time a married couple climbed the podium together at Le Mans – a unique gift just a day before Andrea and David Robertson's wedding anniversary. Shown here is number 69, which only completed the test before the 24-hour race but was unable to take part in the race itself.
