Peugeot spent millions trying to repeat its success at Le Mans in the early 1990s i"&"n the 21st century, only to be beaten by arch-rival Audi. That changed in 2009, when the 908 HDI FAP, driven by Marc Gene, Alexander Wurz, and David Brabham, finally took a well-deserved victory at La Sarthe. This watercolor shows the winning car with sta"&"rting number 9 racing down the Mulsanne Straight – also known as the Hunaudières Straight – at night.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher frames.
