The AC Cobra with starting number 3 from Bolton and Sanderson fights its way through all the hardships of the 31st Grand Prix d'Endurance, the 24 hour race of Le Mans. Even the darkest night, glaringly burning vehicles on the side of the road and heroically acting marshals cannot stop the team. The Cobra #3 achieved 7th place in the overall classification - and that on its first appearance. Unfortunately number 4 was eliminated. The Ferrari 275 SP with Scarfiotti & Bandini, which is about to overtake in the picture, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1963 ahead of other Ferrari teammates.
