The AC Cobra with starting number 3 driven by Bolton and Sanderson battled through all the adversities of the 31st Grand Prix d'Endurance, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Even the darkest night, brightly burning vehicles on the side of the road, and"&" heroic marshals couldn't stop the team. The #3 Cobra achieved 7th place overall – in its first race. Number 4 unfortunately retired. The Ferrari 275 SP with Scarfiotti & Bandini, who is about to overtake in the picture, won the 1963 24 Hours of Le Ma"&"ns ahead of other Ferrari teammates.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher frames.
