Trips is one of the icons of German"&" racing. ""Taffy"" caught the racing bug early on, and after successes as a ""privateer,"" he quickly found himself in the Porsche 356 and 550, ultimately following the call of the ""Commendatore."" 1961 was his most successful season—and with his victory"&" at the Targa Florio, together with Olivier Gendebien, he confirmed his rank among the best drivers in the world. His death at the Monza GP that year was a great shock and his F1 accident a disaster.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher frames.
