This painting was commissioned by the 356 and 550 Club Germany on the occasion of their Germany event in Cologne in 2007. At the top you can see the 550 prototype that Hans Herrmann & Co drove at Le Mans in 1956. Including a production vehicle, a 356 Speedster. The vehicle below is an ultra-rare Abarth Porsche, the Carrera GTL, which was the 'star guest' at the Cologne event.
