Tomonobu Fujii leads the GTE pack through the forest section of the Le Mans racetrack. In 2023, the forests betwe"&"en the second chicane of the Hunaudières and the Indianapolis curve have grown into a very tall stand of trees. In their shadow, Ben Keating in the #33 Corvette and the #777 TF Sport Aston Martin of Team D'Station from Japan are currently battling for pos"&"ition.
They are followed by the no less spectacular Porsche 911 RSR GTE from Project 1 with the dinosaur teeth – the #56 (PJ Hyett/Gunnar Jeanette/Matteo Cairoli), which ultimately finished fourth. Next comes the GMB Motorsport Aston Martin, which "&"will retire early in 2023. The D'Station Aston Martin makes it to lap 174 before retiring.
Fifth place in the picture is the GR Racing Porsche of Mark Wainwright, which even finished third at the end of the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is followed "&"by the JOTA Porsche 963 LMdH from the Hypercar category, which was in the lead but was eliminated due to an accident.
