Mercedes 300 SLR Racing Transporter
In 1952 and again in 1954 and 1955, the star from Unter-Türckheim once again shone on the world's racetracks. Kling, Klenk, Moss, and Fangio, as well as Hermann Lang, participated in the famous Targa Florio, P"&"anamericana, and Le Mans races for the major Sports Car World Championship with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR. The company also competed in Formula 1 with great success. To reach the European racetracks in Spa, Monza, and Reims more quickly, the lightning-fas"&"t Swabians, nicknamed the ""Blue Wonder,"" used the factory-blue racing transporter, which also consisted of elements from the 300 SL production.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher"&" frames.
The stretcher frames are 2 cm deep. The wooden slats of the stretcher frames are approximately 3 cm wide.
