The shipping of the Bundeswehr submarine U196 from Kiel to Speyer is a media event - thousands of visitors line the Rhine during the transport on the pontoon - past Cologne, Kaub and the L"&"orelei. The elegant colossus will remain in Speyer in 2023 and will be moved to Sinsheim in 2024.
