Louis Chiron chasing a Delage trio during the 1927 British Grand Prix at Brooklands. With the new 1.5 liter Bugatti Type 39A, it was only the second Grand Prix for the Monegasque in his long, 35-year racing career. Best known as the "Old Fox", Chiron was responsible, along with Anthony Noghès, for hosting the very first Monaco GP in 1929.
