#1017 Chobe River
original water color art work,
Painting format: 30 x 22 cm
Mid-February 2022 in Botswana. We explore the Chobe National Park situated on the edge of the Chobe River that separates Botswana and Angola. Our first evening in Kasane was directly connected with a self-drive to the national park. After an adventurous ride through the low forest down to the river bank, we suddenly found ourselves at the bank's edge. And paradise came right before our eyes. Hippos in the water less than 30 meters from us, family size elephants ran across the islands in the Chobe River and enjoyed the lush meadows on the banks of the river. Unforgettable moments, how the little elephants are always ahead - and still run around playing around close to their mother.
