#1017 'Chobe River

Mid-February 2022 in Botswana. We explored Chobe National Park, located on the edge of the Chobe River, which separates Botswana and Angola. Our first evening in Kasane involved a self-"&"drive into the national park. After an adventurous drive through the low forest down to the riverbank, we suddenly found ourselves standing at the edge of the river. And paradise appeared before our eyes. Hippos in the water, not 30 meters from us, elepha"&"nts in families, wandering across the islands in the Chobe River and enjoying the lush meadows along the riverbank. Unforgettable moments, like the little elephants always leading the way - yet still playing close to their mother.
