The MG B is known as a roadster. It was launched in 1962 as the successor to the successful MG A. Special bodies designed to make the MGB more spacious were manufactured by the Belgia"&"n coachbuilder Jacques Coune. In 1965, Pinin Farina designed the ""shooting brake,"" the MG B GT, for MG itself. Weighing only 934 kg but with a powerful 1.8 l engine, it was built until its last year of production in 1980.
