The MG B is known as the roadster. It started in 1962 as the successor to the successful MG A. Special bodies designed to make the MGB more spacious were manufactured by the Belgian coachbuilder Jacques Coune. In 1965, Pinin Farina designed the “shooting brake” for MG himself, the MG B GT. With only 934 kg but an agile 1.8 l engine, it was built until its last year of production in 1980.
