Team Land

In 2004, Land Motorsport began collaborating with Bilstein to develop motorsport dampers. The team fielded Porsche 996 GT3-RSRs in the BFGoodrich Endurance Championship and quickly became one of the stron"&"gest teams in the field. It achieved its first victory in just five races. In 2007, Land Motorsport came closer than ever to victory at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring. However, just a few hours before the end, Marc Basseng collided with the leading M"&"anthey Porsche and lost about eighteen minutes due to repairs. In the end, the team of Marc Basseng, Marc Hennerici, Dirk Adorf, and Frank Stippler finished third. In total, the Bilstein Porsche won nineteen races in the endurance championship. Th"&"e example of Team Land also shows how difficult it is to finish in the top ten or even the top three at the Nürburgring 24-hour race, despite maximum effort, optimal preparation, and greatest commitment: It wasn't until 2017, at the Nürburgring 24-hour ra"&"ce, that the team of Markus Winkelhock, Christopher Mies, Kelvin van der Linde, and Connor De Phillippi achieved their first overall victory.
