A TVR is more a philosophy than just a brand. The sports cars, always built in small numbers, followed the basic idea of a very powerful engine, a sturdy steel frame, a voluminous center tunnel for the transmission and power"&"train elements, which always characterized the interior design, and the lightweight fiberglass body, which was always shaped unusually to reflect the spirit of the times. The core of the message, however, was always the extremely powerful engine in contra"&"st to the often relatively small bodies. The M in the abbreviations of many British vehicles, not just TVR, stands for Martin Lilley, the owner of the TVR brand from 1965 to 1981.

The standard format specifications mentioned indicate the outer dimensions of the stretcher frames.
The "&"stretcher frames are 2 cm deep. The wooden slats of the stretcher frames are approximately 3 cm wide.
