Grand Prix de France 1906 - Arthur Duraj
Title o"&"f the book ""Lorraine Dietrich"" by Philippe Leroux
Arthur Duraj drives his Lorraine-Dietrich to victory in the 1906 Ardennes Grand Prix. The nearly 1,000-kilometer race consisted of seven laps around the Belgian city of Bastogne, wher"&"e drivers could reach speeds of over 160 kilometers per hour. Born in New York, Duraj was best known for his attempts to break the land speed record, but he was also a popular winner in the Ardennes – thanks to his Belgian parents.
