Innes Ireland's Aston Martin DP 214 comes under pressure from Graham Hill's Ferrari GTO during the start of the 1963 edition of the Goodwood Tourist Trophy. A round of hara-kiri saw Ireland snatch pole position, although both his and Bruce McLaren's identical DP 214 were forced to run narrower tires than their Italian rivals.
