RAC Rally 1964
Historic rally race car
The Mini Cooper "24 PK" was a thoroughly successful GT racing car driven by Peter Moon and Brian Culcheth. The little fighter achieved the greatest successes in the "Coupe des Alpes" Rallye in 1963, where it took second place behind a Zagato Giulietta in the Grand Touring category, and in 1964 at the British RAC Rallye, where it came second in the Autocar Trophy and 16th overall. The picture shows the two riders jumping over the Carron Valley Bridge during the '64 RAC.
