In the 1910s and 1920s, the automobile manufacturers Benz and Daimler, in cooperation with many European manufacturers and idea generators, achieved the crown of the record vehicle competitions by breaking records that had previously been thought to be"&" unattainable with speeds of up to 200 kilometers per hour on the beaches of England and America. Pictured on the left are two Daimler Grand Prix racing cars and on the right is the famous Blitzen-Benz.
