#1021 Victoria Falls, Zambezi River
The Zambezi River brings the rainfall in northern Angola over many hundreds of kilometers to the southern border, and thus also to Zambia - and later to the border with Botswana. The Victoria Falls, very close to this triangle of countries, form an incredible natural spectacle. The river plunges 90 meters and more into the depths. On a front a good kilometer wide, deafening, roaring floods tumble unhindered into the Zambezi Trench. At the southernmost point of the falls you will inevitably get wet, from the spray that whirls up again from the deep ditch in fine water droplets, moistening everything around. The vegetation there is therefore that of a perfect jungle. The dimensions of the Victoria Falls are unbelievable.
In the Outlook Cafe we let the experience sink in just to be able to take another breathtaking view of the turbulent water from a dizzying height. A natural wonder of incredible size.
