#1018 Queen of Africa
#1018 Queen of Africa
The Chobe River National Park completely fascinated us. We sit in our "Regina" and enjoy the incredible view of the river islands in the Chobe River. We drive a little further and notice the crocodiles, hippos and elephants on our right. When another vehicle, almost unnoticed, also drives onto the river bank and brakes some distance away. Only after a certain time do we notice that the inmates are not taking pictures of the river, but in the direction of the interior. And then we suddenly realize why. The lioness and her sister are eating their evening meal at the edge of the river. Peace of mind - because jeeps are air for the lions. So we are less than 30 meters from the two and drive slowly and quietly towards you. An incredible view - lionesses in the wild - undisturbed. One of the highlights of our two month trip. The "Queen of Africa" was our topic of conversation for a long time.
